Hey gang... well it seems my Rochester compatriots have worked through their logistical issues and have re-convened their camp from last year aka Moonbase. We've worked on a couple of projects together already and have pooled our resources to make the treck from the east coast managable. So it turns out I'll be camping out at Moonbase this year... my heart is heavy at the thought of not seeing your shining faces as the sun rises on the playa, but the good news is we'll probably be neighbors! As far as we can tell so far, Moonbase will be at 4:30 and something... not far from our usual locale. Do you know your address yet? I spoke with Susan and it looks like she'll not be able to make it this year... a trip to the far east may be in her near future. I'll be arriving on Tuesday and staying through Monday. Can't wait to see you!

Glen... sorry we didn't connect here in roch! for sure I'll see you on the playa... my personal email is kristiglen@aol.com / . xoxo
Fred... I don't think Moonbase was assigned a locale. From what I gather they plan on claiming space upon arrival and are targeting 4:30 towards the outside. Some folks are arriving early on Day 1 so they feel confident they can get the space. I'll keep you posted if I learn anything more definite.

Any chance this thread can be deleted? It's showing my phone number in a google search.
Thanks! |
